“Let it be” Modeling technique and calm.
For several weeks, I was modeling and texturing this sofa, guided by the work of Artem Gogolov, a Russian artist whose precision and clarity of process I find deeply inspiring.
Watching his approach opened a new perspective on what it means to master technique: not just executing well, but thinking with structure, intention, and sensitivity.
This project was more than a technical exercise; it was a reminder of why I chose this path. The Russian school of modeling is incredible, with an obsession for detail that I admire and continue to learn from every day.
Sometimes, the most demanding processes end up being the most revealing.
